Installing VLC and Real Player in Ubuntu

Procedure for installing VLC player in Ubuntu 8.10

Installation:

1) Remove old VlC

 

Remove the previous version of VLC to avoid a conflict when you upgrade.

 

From terminal:

sudo aptget

remove vlc

 

2) Include new repository.
