What we are really talking about here is trust. People buy from others that they trust. Visitors to your website don’t know you, and are naturally going to be skeptical before they make a decision to buy. Building this kind of trust takes time. So, you are asking yourself, “how do I build trust with someone when they won’t give me a chance?”. Good question. I will answer that in a minute, but first let me give you some interesting information, statistics that will help you understand the network marketing business.
A recent study done by Sales and Marketing Executives International revealed that a whopping 81% of sales occured after the 5th exposure or contact of a product or service to an individual. Not only that, but they also found that 80% of people who inquire about a product or service WILL buy it within one year of their initial inquiry! However, 90% of the time, they will not make that purchase from the same company or individual that they made their initial contact with. What that tells us is that people who are looking for that one product that will solve their problem, or cure their pain, will eventually find it, and buy. It is simply a matter of time and exposure to good information…your prospect needs to feel confident that they are making a good buying decision. For that very reason, in order for you to build a successful network marketing business, it is your job to position yourself as an expert, someone that can answer your prospects questions, and therefore gain their trust.
So how do you do that? One of the things you have to realize is that although many of your leads may have given you bad phone contact information, they almost always, in fact 98% of the time, give you a good email address. Why? Because in most cases they expect that whatever they submitted their information for…whether it be a free report, newsletter, or e-course, it will most likely be delivered via email. Voila! You now have a way to contact your lead, and begin the process of educating them and positioning yourself as an expert in their eyes.
So, your task at hand is to craft an email series designed to attract the attention of your data base. When you are creating your email series, keep in mind your goal. If you want to be viewed as a trusted resource, someone that your data base goes to for information, then you must provide just that – valuable information that your prospects can use. Your network marketing business relies on your ability to become an expert, and honestly be willing to help your prospects find what it is that they came to you looking for in the first place. By supplying your prospects with information, educating them, and answering their questions, you will build the credibility you need.
Here’s a network marketing strategy that will absolutely prove to be a key to your success. By using an autoresponder, you don’t have to individually write emails to each of your leads, over and over again. This advanced tool makes life much simpler for you. What an autoresponder does is automatically send out emails at predetermined intervals to your data base. How cool is that? Of course this takes alot of work up front, you have to craft your messages, but once that is done, you can sit back and let your emails go to work for you.
Find an autoresponder company you like…there are hundreds of them out there… most of which are quite affordable. Choose an autoresponder with features that make sense for you and your network marketing business. Look at what they offer and any limitations they may have.

Having a website alone, even once you have started to get traffic, isn’t enough.
