- 2 June 2010, 11:06

have a big problem with my Laptop.I have a Sony Vaio with windows XP as a operating system on it. run a chkdisk option which have stared my laptop to reboot continuously. Please help me regarding this problemANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED Try to reset the CPU cooler, make sure you’ve applied the thermal paste correctly. Also ensure the 24-pin and 8-pin power plugs are inserted. OK to continue, Try it without the HDD and also check that the second power header is plugged in fully. It can be a tight fit. Memory has always worked, have this system now for over 1 years, but recently I have the HDD’s and CPU replaced. For the rest, I’m not even in the BIOS as the machine starts, 5 seconds long to live, without images, because to go back and restart. I can not possibly in the BIOS.  Re: Constant reboot with Gigabyte X48-DQ6

Here’s what you can try, Lower your memory dividers and up your memory voltage as most of the time if it fails to boot then it’s memory related, otherwise, It can be Your VGA card or your power supply, but timings can try Search on internet for the best timings in your bios to set

When I power off the hall after the PC has not successfully booted,, give 2 loud beeps from the motherboard itself. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong, and what I can do to solve it?
